Brush and low branches cleared to open up and tidy the area around a cabin in dense forest.
The problem
A cabin owner near Coolin wanted to open up and tidy the area around their place. Thick brush and low branches crowded the cabin and made the lot feel closed-in.
The solution
We cleared brush and undergrowth around the cabin, pulled roots with the root rake, and selectively removed small trees — keeping the mature trees that gave the place its character. Everything we removed was hauled away.
Challenges
The goal was to open things up without clear-cutting. We worked selectively so the property still felt like it belonged in the woods.
